Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of marine vessels and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on marine engines, propulsion systems, and navigation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on marine vessels.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of marine machinery.
• Assist in the installation and integration of new equipment, engines, and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with other marine professionals, engineers, and crew members for coordinated maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
• Respond to emergency situations to ensure the safety of the vessel and its crew.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in marine technology preferred.
• Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of marine engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and navigation equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the maritime industry.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
